MUSIC THEORY. NET
This site has fun exercises to build up those musical skills!  I even practice on the site sometimes when I want to brush up on my music theory!  Oh, and if you go to "tools" you can get a pop-up piano on your screen!

CHROME MUSIC LAB:
This site has tons of interesting games and experiments that seem to
blend music, tech, science and coding into some serious FUN!  I love it!

CYBER PATTERN PLAYER:
Make a totally funky ostinato (repeated patterns) on this site!

SFSKIDS:
Visit this site for lots of musical fun!  Learn about instruments, rhythms, melody, and much more! This has been a favorite of mine for a long, long time!

RHYTHM TRAINER:
Here is a quick rhythm training site to try.  We use this in class all the time.
Mode A is more challenging than Mode B.

WHACK A NOTE:
This site is great to practice pitch names...and it's a blast!

MUSIC TECH TEACHER:
There are TONS of mini games for pretty much
any musical skill you want to work on.

CREATING MUSIC. COM:
I found this website some time ago.  It has a few music games on it…The “Hearing
Music” link has some nice ear training exercises. "Creating your own music" is
also interesting.

8NOTES.COM:
I highly recommend the above site for any child/family searching for new songs
to play on any instrument.  It has a vast library of FREE songs that you may
print off, as well as hear.  Many categories of sheet music are available,
including guitar, piano, and more!  Once on the page of listed songs, be sure
to look at the label on the far right, indicating the difficulty level.  The
“easy” guitar songs might be most appropriate for an advanced 5th grade
guitarist, although there may be a few 3rd and 4th graders able to keep up
with it!  Some songs include fret numbers over some of the notes.

MUSICNOTES.COM:

I use this site ALL the time!  Parents, you will need to take the lead on this
one though because it requires an email sign-in, password and CREDIT CARD!
But....once you are in, you can buy SHEET MUSIC for almost any song in the
world and for any instrument as well.  Once you buy the printed music, it lets
you download it onto your computer and print it.  Many songs also have
music/audio file so you can watch and listen to it being played on the screen
(a free music player program is available with your first purchase).  This is
where I purchase most of our music for our shows!  And, yes...there is an APP
for this as well! :)

GUITAR CHORDS:

I really like this site for two main reasons.  First, it can help
you tune your guitars at home by simply clicking on the tuning
pegs on the screen and hearing the pitch of each string. Second,
when you click on "Guitar Chords" you can see how to play almost any chord.

CHORDBOOK:

This site is another very helpful resource when learning how to play chords. I
find the image very realistic, making it easier to understand compared to
other chord diagrams. When you "strum" the chord you can actually HEAR it!!!
Something fun, for an advanced user, is to press the “strum” button and “play”
an accompaniment to a song you know (or make one up!).

SHEET MUSIC PLUS:

Here is a great site for buying sheet music.  I love going on to listen to the
newest songs available.  In class, many of the kids like to listen to Greg
Gilpin's songs!
